Recycle Your Cycles 2024The Recycle Your Cycles event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Bicycles can be dropped off between 8:00 am and 10:00 am at WNCC Harms Center - Lower Bay Area (South Side).

Household Hazardous Waste Collection 2024The Household Hazardous Waste Collection will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 9:00 am and 11:00 am at Uptown Mall Scottsbluff - west parking lot, northwest of Harbor Freight.
The FEE will be waived for 2024!
KSGB has the right to accept or reject any drop off. We will accept:
NO Early Drop Offs. NO trailer loads accepted. Please contact KSGB prior to the event for special cases. We will not accept:
*City of Scottsbluff Environmental Services accepts electronics and batteries (for a fee), and paint in original containers during business hours, all year long. Battery terminals MUST be taped. **City of Gering Landfill does accept tires (for a fee), during normal business hours, all year long. ***Midwest Auto in Gering, NE will take used appliances for recycling. Earth Day Celebration 2024The Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 9:00 am and 11:00 am at Uptown Mall Scottsbluff - west parking lot, northwest of Harbor Freight.

Fall Pharmaceutical Take-Back 2023The Pharmaceutical Take-back event will be Saturday, October 28th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Uptown Mall Scottsbluff - east side of the building in the old Herbergers front entrance, north of Harbor Freight.
$5 fee per individual drop off $250 fee per business drop off Keep Scottsbluff Gering Beautiful (KSGB) is hosting a collection of expired and/or unused pharmaceuticals and over the counter medications and vitamins. Pills need to be left in original containers with the label attached. Feel free to remove or cover up your name, but leave the pill information on the bottle. We also accept sharps. Help protect the safety of our volunteers by placing sharps in approved sharps containers or in clearly marked heavy plastic containers, such as laundry detergent bottles. DO NOT place sharps in pill bottles or have them randomly thrown in boxes with other items. Please be courteous of our volunteers and respectful of this event and safely collect and drop off your unwanted sharps and pharmaceuticals. Remember, this collection event is ONLY for prescriptions, over the counter medications, vitamins and sharps. We will NOT accept hairbrushes, lotions, hair gels, etc. KSGB receives grant funds from the Waste Reduction and Recycling Incentive Grant Program through the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy. The event is also sponsored by: North Platte NRD, City of Gering, City of Scottsbluff, & the Scottsbluff and Gering Police Departments.
