KSGB sponsors, facilitates, and organizes several types of programs in the community. We believe education is key to the success and continued growth of our programs. Our success is not possible without our many partnerships that we have with community leaders, businesses, and volunteers.   Below you will find more information on our areas of focus. 

Recycling

KSGB organizes and promotes many recycling events in our community throughout the year. 

Litter Reduction -
Adopt-A-Spot

A cleanup grant with the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy allows KSGB to pay groups and/or individuals $50/mile to pick up trash and recycling in  designated areas within our community.

Education

KSGB provides educational information about recycling opportunities available to the residents in our community.

We also provide educational activities based on recycling and litter reduction in the schools and to local organizations within our community.

Stormwater Education and Drain Decal Program

KSGB partners with Tri-City Stormwater to help educate the public on stormwater and organize groups and/or individuals interested in helping to replace storm drain decals while earning money.
